Mops & Mopping Systems

Commercial mops, mop heads, buckets and dust control mops for wet mopping and daily dust removal on hard floors. Mop heads, buckets and microfibre mops come in red, blue, green and yellow, so you can run a colour-coded system and keep washroom mops out of kitchens. Like everything we stock, they're chosen and field-tested by our own 120-strong cleaning crew.

What's in the range

• Cotton mop heads and wringer buckets: Cleanmax 400g contractor mop heads with matching 16L side-press wringer buckets, the standard set-up for wet mopping corridors, washrooms and kitchens.
• Microfibre mops: Puregiene 350g round microfibre mops, and Cleanmax 60cm flat microfibre mops with refills. Microfibre usually needs less water and chemical than cotton and suits regular hard-floor cleaning.
• Dust control mops: Cleanmax modacrylic dust mops in 61cm and 91cm, replacement fringes, and a 185cm scissor dust mop for large floors such as warehouses, shopping centres and sports courts.
• Handles and carts: a 1 to 1.8m telescopic handle, and a Cleanmax janitors cart with bag to carry the full kit around site.

Colour coding

Use red for toilets and urinals, blue for general areas such as offices and reception, green for kitchens and food preparation, and yellow for clinical or isolation areas. Matching mop heads, buckets and cloths by colour makes the system easy for staff to follow and helps prevent cross-contamination. Our colour-coded cleaning guide explains it in full.

Prices include GST. On most items, volume pricing applies automatically: 5% off when you order 3 to 9 of the same item, and 10% off from 10. Delivery is free Australia-wide on orders from $200. Pair your mops with a neutral floor cleaner from our cleaning chemicals range.

Common questions

When should a commercial mop head be replaced?
Once it's frayed, stained or no longer holds water well. Keeping spare heads in each colour means there's always a clean one ready for the next shift.

Which mop is best for large hard floors?
For daily dust removal, a dust control mop is the fastest option: 91cm for corridors and the 185cm scissor mop for open areas. Follow with a wet mop where floors need it.
